Description
Here at The Grange, learning and the Learner is at the heart of all curricular and co-curricular decisions. Set up in 2018, the school is designed to be a small, reasonably-priced international school that has one aim – to be a school where creativity flourishes. With over 20 nationalities represented within our learning community The Grange also offers additional English language for students who require support in mastery of the English language as well as providing two language options – Mandarin and Japanese language.
The Grange strives to create a child-centred, culturally diverse and sustainability-focused learning environment in a welcoming school setting. Over the years, the Grange has fostered a closely-knit school community that promotes a positive community experience not only for the students but for the teachers and parents. In this environment, all our students are known by all of our teachers – not just as learners, but as personalities and as creators.
While most might imagine The Grange, being a “small school” would typically be housed in a small building on a tiny plot – The Grange on the contrary, lies on a lush 3-acre land. Utilising the natural environment, The Grange has incorporated nature-inspired learning into part of our learning.
In just a few short years since its inception, The Grange has won the Best Environmental Initiative award 2 years in a row, global accolades at the inaugural Chinese Language Festival, and most recently, it became the first school in Singapore to join The Alliance of Sustainable School as a founding member. The Grange constantly pushes the boundaries of the level of quality education a family-centric school can offer.
The Grange also aims to equip the students with key competencies that encourage holistic development of students, to prepare them for the real-world issues and act as responsible global citizens for a better future.
