Established in 2007, St. Joseph’s Institution International offers a holistic, values-driven and international educational experience to a diverse student body of 40 nationalities. As a school with a Lasallian Catholic foundation, SJI International welcomes students, teachers, parents, friends and supporters of all faiths and cultural backgrounds.
Today, the school celebrates a community of over 2,000 students across two schools on one campus. The High School admits both Singaporean and international students in Grades 7 – 12 (ages 12 – 18), while the Elementary School caters to expatriate children from pre-school Prep 1 – 2 (ages 4 turning 5 – 6) and Grade 1 – 6 (ages 7 – 12).
CurriculumThe Elementary School provides the International Primary Curriculum from Prep 1 to Grade 6 (ages 4 to 12); while the High School offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) from Grades 7 to 12 (ages 12 to 18). At High School, we are proud of the wide range of high-quality activities available to students at SJI International both at lunchtime and after school. These include many sporting activities such as tennis, soccer, golf and rock climbing. There is also a wide variety of non-sporting activities such as MUN (Model United Nations), Orchestra, Gamelan and our ever-popular Drama productions. A variety of peripatetic music opportunities are also available to students. Most activities are provided free of charge. However, some activities do incur an additional cost. All students are expected to undertake at least one activity outside normal curriculum hours in addition to service, but on average our students participate in far more.

Overall, we have been very happy with the school – the friends that our children have made, the parents that we know, the well-balanced and the well-thought-out curriculum, the excellent teaching and the emphasis placed on the character education.
The teachers are excellent, caring and committed individuals who have the best interests of the children at heart. Through discussions and parent workshop, it’s evident that they aim to foster to foster a love for learning.
The High School ethics of service to the community, academic excellence and respect for one another are very impressive- and the IB results obtained by the students are truly remarkable.
I’m glad that my children are going to class with and creating great friendships with Singaporeans, which is important for integration in this country.
The dedication and commitment of the staff alone are enough to recommend St. Joseph’s!
The school provides holistic education, focusing not only on academics but also on character education and cultural experience. It has provided our family with a supportive and friendly community.
Rupert has attended St. Joseph’s Institution International since Prep 1 in January 2016 whilst Harvey commenced Prep 1 in January 2018. We’ve loved the school ever since we joined, and the school has become a significant part of our lives in Singapore.
