Welcome! When you become a Spartan, you are a Spartan for life.

Martin Luther High School (ML) was founded in 1968 near the Great Lakes in Greendale, Wisconsin (90 miles North of Chicago). It is one of four schools managed by the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee (LHSAGM).

ML is a 9th-12th grade boarding and day school with 620 students. 95% of the students are domestic and 5% are international students. At ML, you can live in our new premier dorm with University-style suites located on a 26-acre campus. Students love the convenience and experience of dorm living, however host families are also an option. The campus is walking distance to beautiful parks and 50+ restaurants and shops.

At Martin Luther High School, you can build a unique learning experience that is as fun as it is applicable to your future goals. We are focus on your future by providing expectational experiences in four pillars of focus: Spiritual Life, Academics, Athletics, and the Arts. Using these four pillars of education, our Spartans leave with a world of knowledge and meaningful connections bigger than our beautiful community.

SPIRITUAL LIFE – Your purpose is greater than you realized.
Our culture is rooted in Christian character and principals to empower students to be a strong force of good in the world. Students are encouraged to grow their spiritual life and serve others in the community.

ACADEMICS – Who Will? Spartans Will.
Grow your passion with our curriculum into a talent and skill for your future. We offer 126 courses and 25 college credit courses. Most recently, 14% of graduates earned a 4.0 GPA or higher. We are partnered with International University Alliance, which advances the admissions process for students who wish to attend top-tier U.S. higher education institutes. 100% of our international students go to top 100 universities in the USA, Canada, Australia, or England.

ATHLETICS – It’s not just WHAT we do, but WHY and HOW we do it that distinguishes us as SPARTANS.
At Martin Luther High School, 75% of students are involved in at least one sport. Spartans are known for their great sports programs, including a recent Basketball State Championship. Developing the student-athlete both in and out of the classroom better prepares them for the future. We offer 20 different athletic teams. Some popular teams include American Football, Soccer (Football), Tennis, Basketball, Golf, Dance, Cheerleading, Track & Field.

ARTS – Make your mark.
ML offers 23 fine arts classes and clubs to showcase your talents including 5 choirs, 7 bands, drama, photography, and robotics.
