A British Boarding School in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Founded on a history of academic excellence spanning 155 years, Malvern College Switzerland, a member of the Malvern College family, provides the best of British education in a unique and stunning Alpine location.

Leysin, the regarded as one of the most international villages in Switzerland, is cosmopolitan and already enjoys a reputation as a hub for learning and academic success. The village is blessed with sports and activities for all seasons giving pupils a chance to engage in a vast variety of experiences rarely available in one location. For international pupils looking for a safe and rewarding academic experience as well as a wide range of co-corricullar activities, it is the perfect option.

Malvern College Switzerland (MCS) pupils enjoy a rigorous and stimulating academic experience focusing on the British national curriculum. Our programme focusses on years 7-13 (ages 11-18) offering Pre-IGCSEs, IGSCEs and A-Levels. We also offer a University Preparation Course to prepare school leavers for university life.

All our pupils board, which makes for a tight-knit community of learners. MCS pupils are accommodated in spacious and recently renovated rooms which they share with one or two other pupils. Every pupil has their own workspace, access to kitchen facilities and is able to make use of all MCS’s on-campus facilities. Boarding house staff are on hand 24-7 to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They go on a variety of trips and activities in the evenings and at weekends.

Your child is our priority. Every school in the Malvern family places the utmost importance on pupils’ well-being and happiness. We want all our pupils to flourish, so the help and support we give is available 24-7, and is tailored to individual needs.

Malvern College Switzerland has two impressive Sporting Academies for sport driven and skilled students and places are limited.

The Malvern College Switzerland Tennis Academy
The Academy is for serious players looking to compete and represent MCS in various tournaments throughout the country. It will include serious tennis instruction with 20 hours of training, matches, match analysis, technique, and fitness, per week including the weekend if the tennis players are not on tournament. This will be coupled with their standard academic curriculum and will be dependent on them succeeding in class.

Players join the Swiss Tennis Federation through the Leysin Tennis Club and compete in local and national competitions.

The Malvern College Switzerland Ski and Snowboard Academy
Situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps with the slopes a mere 10 min walk to 3 min drive away, MCS is a perfect home for avid skiers and snowboarders looking to compete in their discipline. From the months of December to March, the MCS Ski and Snowboard Academy/Team take to the slopes to train in either Freestyle, Freeride or Downhill, in order to prepare for competitions and of course to have a good time!

The programme is created for those that are passionate about the mountain and winter sports and looking to spend a lot of time on the slopes representing Malvern College Switzerland. Selection is not guaranteed and requires supporting references.

The instructors are Swiss and International and in cooperation with the Swiss Ski School.
