The school offers its students unmatched international learning opportunities, combined with truly personalised academic support and the highest educational standards, to motivate all students to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
The school offers only curricula that lead to accredited qualifications recognised by the world’s leading universities. It also offers enriching learning opportunities to ensure that students are equipped with the skills to shape the world they inherit.
Primary students follow an enhanced International Primary Curriculum with French options ranging from a beginner’s course to a bilingual programme. This provides an excellent transition into the diverse international secondary curriculum offer.
In secondary, students are supported to achieve excellent academic results and further develop their skills in two or more languages. They can opt for a single-language or bilingual IB diploma, strengthening their application to top universities in Switzerland and abroad.
LCIS is a member of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), the world’s leading premium schools group, and is, therefore, able to recruit the finest locally and internationally trained teachers committed to nurturing and inspiring every child. Consequently, LCIS students achieve outstanding academic results, and graduates are accepted to top universities in Switzerland and worldwide.
With approximately 40 nationalities represented at the school, supporting children in their own cultures and languages is at the core of the school’s philosophy. Through outstanding education and international opportunities unmatched by other schools in the area, the school cultivates in them the qualities, attributes, and skills needed to shape the future.
The school’s Performing Arts programme benefits from its collaboration with The Juilliard School. The school’s collaboration with MIT emphasises hands-on learning of STEAM subjects. In partnership with UNICEF, the school raises awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and explores local solutions to global problems.
LCIS is led by Andy Puttock, formerly Global Education Director for NAE. He has been instrumental in driving NAE’s strategy for building an outstanding education for their students worldwide.

It’s time to say goodbye and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone!!! The teachers didn’t just educate our kids. You all taught them the importance of education. We are grateful to you. You were kind, patient and considerate, but played the stickler when you needed to. You have played a key role in moulding our children into good human beings and they will miss so much about LCIS. Thanks a lot for your support. All the best and Auf Wiedersehen
Thank you for the wonderful years at La Côte International School Aubonne, it has truly been a joy to be part of this adventure from the beginning, and to see the school and the boys evolve so beautifully. The boys have really enjoyed every minute of it, the excellent quality of the teaching, the efficiency and friendliness of the whole team at LCIS, the atmosphere, the programme, the excursions, the fabulous music shows, thank you for all these wonderful moments.
It has been more than an year since my kids left this school, but they still remember it so fondly! Had a fantastic experience and saw my kids flourish in this positive, lively and encouraging learning environment! The staff is extremely encouraging and motivating towards the students. Parents are always welcomed and supported in adapting to the new place.
Teachers are resourceful and creative in finding the most amazing ways to develop our children’s curiosity and they really make learning afun activity for kids to pursue. I have visited many schools in the area and I have yet to see the quality of teachers like the ones in Foundation Years at La Côte.
