Description

CAIS is a non-profit international school of 1,500+ students representing more than 25 nationalities based in Hong Kong.

CAIS is authorized as an IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate®️ Diploma Programme (IBDP). It is also accredited to provide the Alberta Curriculum and offers Advanced Placement®️ courses. CAIS is a through-train school, providing a unique transformative educational experience for children aged from 5 to 17 at its preparatory, lower and upper primary and secondary sections. CAIS, founded by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance (KTAC), welcomes students from all backgrounds.

Academics

Curriculum

The CAIS academic culture is rigorous and enthusiastic. Advanced Placement courses complement the world class Alberta Curriculum. Students can also progress through to the IB Diploma Programme during their final two years of secondary education.

Languages of instruction

The language of instruction is English. Chinese Studies classes are mandatory for Preparatory to Grade 9 students and are optional for Grade 10 to 12 students.
