Description
More than a School. An Experience.
American School of The Hague (ASH) is an international school located in Wassenaar, the Netherlands. In a safe and welcoming environment, we guide the learning of our students, ranging between 3 to 18 years old, who represent up to 80 nationalities, with 28 percent American and 15 percent Dutch nationals. Here, we learn how to build a better world as we become better human beings. For this, we are guided by our Core Values and learn from and for the world. We embrace everyone’s voice, our unique differences and achievements, and service to others.
The ASH experience represents our distinct and inclusive learning lifestyle, from our unique location, successful transition programs, world-class staff, and diverse community, to our various academic strands, reputable arts and sports programs, our powerful traditions, and programs for STEAM, service and experiential learning, peace and justice, and sustainability. In combination, these make us uniquely ASH.
A global leader in fostering student transitions into ASH and on to universities, ASH is home to more than 1200 students and 270 employees, including Fulbright scholars, National Principal awardees, and scores of faculty involved in educational research. ASH enjoys the support of a strong community network through its Safe Harbour transition program, Parent-Teacher Organization, and Alumni Association.
ASH is an amazing school for kids of any age. It is really easy to make new friends and all the teachers are very kind and understanding.
