Founded on the values of respect, academic excellence and international mindset, Sage College provides the best British Education in a privileged location in the south of Spain.
We are the only International British School in the area that follows the full British Curriculum from the age of 2 to 18. The four stages of the Curriculum give students a clear path for educational success, leading seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each curriculum offers high-quality support from teachers and integrated assessment, including Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and AS & A Level qualifications, which are recognised by universities worldwide. Alongside the British International curriculum we offer the Spanish Baccalaureate studies for those students interested in accessing Spanish universities.
With around 400 students from over 20 nationalities, Sage College offers a family-centred environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, to be creative and dynamic and to learn from first-hand experience. As they grow up, they develop collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills that will help them become global citizens.
The Boarding School Programme is offered to students aged 11-18 years old. Our boarding facilities provide all the comforts of home in a unique campus community experience. Becoming a part of our boarding community offers a unique opportunity for students all across the world. Not only do we teach our core values of academic excellence, respect and internationality, but we provide our students with the support to develop personal skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.
We follow the Cambridge International Curriculum which is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales throughout, which means that students gain an education as if they were in a school in the UK. This is not solely about becoming bilingual in English and Spanish. The curriculum is designed to meet the individual needs of every student, providing exposure to a broad and balanced range of stimulating and motivating learning experiences. A variety of teaching methods are employed to ensure that each student progresses at their own pace. The official examinations in the British system, including IGCSE at age 16 and A-level at age 18 are recognised globally, allowing students to attend universities around the world. In addition our students also take lessons in the subjects of Spanish Lengua y Literatura and Cultura Española so that they can validate their studies with the Spanish system.

Playing together, running, jumping, jumping on the floor, scoring goals, dancing, horse riding, balancing, winning games, laughing and enjoying ourselves. Our extracurricular activities try to meet the physical needs and tastes of the children to provide them with a space in which they can learn, practice and improve their favourite activities, without forgetting the educational dimension and the values they provide them with. Companionship, team spirit, the desire to excel and the discovery of one’s own abilities are combined with sporting or artistic practice so that any activity becomes a healthy leisure option for children. At Sage College we have a varied extracurricular programme adapted to all ages (you can consult the complete programme здесь). All teachers are highly qualified and have many years of experience in the different disciplines offered.
We moved to Sage last year from another school and we are thrilled with the change. We have lived abroad for many years and have lots of experience in International schools. Sage is all about the well being of the children first and the rest will follow naturally. English is their first language and I have seen on children who have been there for a few years how they transform into bilingual speakers with English as native language, it is extraordinary. The team is amazing and works very hard every day to innovate and adapt to every child's need. Sage, as others have said, it is a true family. Highly recommended.
