Fondata nel 2010, la Verbier International School offre un'educazione di livello mondiale per studenti dai 3 ai 16 anni. Immerso nel cuore di Verbier, ci sforziamo per l'eccellenza educativa, accogliendo in media 80 studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo in quello che è un bellissimo ambiente di montagna.
Seguendo il Curriculum Nazionale Inglese, il nostro coerente continuum di programmi va dalla Pre-School fino alla scuola secondaria (Anno 11). Le classi sono per lo più insegnate in inglese con lezioni intensive di francese.
Siamo orgogliosi di offrire piccole classi, che forniscono agli studenti un'educazione personalizzata e un'esperienza di apprendimento che durerà tutta la vita. L'apprendimento al VIS è ispirato dal pensiero critico, dalla creatività e da una mentalità VIS aperta alle credenze e alle culture degli altri.
Con una forte enfasi sugli sport competitivi e le arti, il VIS offre una serie completa di attività artistiche, culturali, atletiche e tecnologiche. Lo sci è parte integrante del nostro programma durante la stagione invernale e gli studenti sciano due volte a settimana.
VIS offers a wide range of After School Activities for all ages focused towards courage - rugby, tennis, golf, aerial yoga, dance, trampoline, ice skating; curiosity - videography, photography, cookery, and family - service opportunities, school magazine production, ski care. The school also offers an extraordinary PE programme which incorporates mountain biking on Verbier's incredible trails (for all levels), surfing, trail running as well as team games such as unihockey, volleyball and basketball. During the later Autumn term we offer ski days in Saas Fee and in Verbier when open. In the Winter term students can choose between several different ski programmes including race training, freeride and ski touring as well as experiencing cross country skiing and other winter sports.
The boarders weekend programme includes ascending local peaks and staying in mountain refuges, sports trips such as wakesurfing and expeditions to Italian and Swiss towns. In Winter boarders ski on the weekends.

We were looking for a unique experience for our children, both in terms of schooling and at their ages the ability to grow and benefit from living in a beautiful region such as Verbier. The school has provided an welcoming environment where the kids can explore and grow in small classes with very hands on and dedicated teachers
